University of Hawaii, Hamilton Library Addition, Lighting Upgrade and Energy Savings Analysis
Year: N/A
Client: University of Hawaii
RHA Energy Partners, as a subconsultant to Randolph Murayama & Associates (prime consultant to UH Manoa), prepared a lighting audit and preliminary design for LED lighting upgrades to the Hamilton Library Phase III Addition, including cost-savings financial analysis. As part of the evaluation, RHA Energy Partners also conducted a detailed energy model software simulation to model the lighting impact to the buildings HVAC system and overall building energy consumption to more accurately evaluate cost-savings and building system impact. The evaluation provided UHM with sufficient information from which to proceed to procurement for full lighting design services to proceed with lighting upgrades.
