Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, Strategic Energy Plan

Year: 2018
Client: Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific

RHA Energy Partners developed a strategic energy plan for the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific (REHAB) that identified energy efficiency opportunities, updated the sites electrical one-line diagrams, conducted a condition assessment and disaster planning assessment of the facility’s existing emergency generator, including evaluating potential generator relocation sites due to concerns of potential flooding from the sites adjacent canal, and evaluated potential relocation of incoming electric utility service feeds and undergrounding of utility service feeds.

The strategic energy master plan also evaluated potential for additional solar PV and battery energy storage opportunities as a means for reducing energy operating costs and increasing the hospital’s power reliability and resiliency.
